This pretty little pony comes to you in time for Chinese New Year 2026!

The inspiration for this little darling came when my mum saw a picture in a pattern book... of a pair of crocheted slippers that had been made fluffy... “That would look good on a squirrel’s tail” she said. And I simply had to test her theory!

One day, when my sister was feeling ill, I decided I wanted to make her something to help her feel better. Dinosaurs are her favourite thing in the world, so I thought I’d make her an apatosaurus.

This little fellow was first made as a Halloween treat for my dad. He was delivered in a little cauldron with Halloween chocolates underneath. Next to him were two more similar cauldrons, each with a different Halloween-y animal, for the rest of my family.

Of course, my first pattern on here had to be the little guy on my logo!
